Expedition Station was built in 2005 in the exact spot of Spruce Lodge.

This popular lodging facility was always the most basic on the mountain but had quite a few fans since it offered a bed on the mountain at a price most anyone could afford.

Expedition Station was designed with that client in mind. While it offers substantially more than a bed, its prices are some of the most reasonable in the village.

You will not find a fireplace in your room or a hot tub on a balcony.

However, you will be located slopeside- in the heart of the village- and adjacent to all the summer and winter activities.

And your accommodations will be plush with a very modern décor and large screen plasma TV.

You will also have access to Split Rock Pools located in the village complete with hot tub and sauna.

Split Rock Pools is free of charge for guests lodging through Snowshoe Mountain Central Reservations.
